Later pricing, explained with real math
Later's Starter plan is $25/month (or $18.75/month billed annually) for one social set and one user. The number that matters more is 30: that's the monthly post cap per profile on Starter, and it's the wall daily posters hit.
Two more things shape the real price. Later removed its free plan in 2024, so the trial is the only free path. And Later ended X (Twitter) support in 2025, so no Later plan can post there at any price. Here's how it adds up.

30 posts per profile per month is one post a day with zero to spare. Real daily posting pushes you to Growth at $50/month.
You post to X too
No Later plan covers X at any price. You'd run a second tool alongside, or pick a scheduler that includes X.

How much does Later cost per month?
Starter is $25/month, or $18.75/month billed annually, for one social set, one user, and a 30-post monthly cap per profile. Growth is $50/month ($37.50 annual) with higher limits. Extra users run $3.75 to $5/month each.
Does Later have a free plan?
No. Later removed its free plan in 2024. There's a 14-day trial, then Starter at $25/month is the entry point.
Does Later support X (Twitter)?
No. Later ended X support in 2025 and hasn't restored it, so no plan can post to X at any price. If X matters, look at schedulers that include it: Unbusied does at $33/month flat, and Buffer supports X too.
What happens when I hit Later's post cap?
Starter allows 30 posts per social profile per month; past that you're upgrading to Growth or waiting for the month to reset. If caps are the problem, tools with truly unlimited posts (Buffer paid, Pallyy, and Unbusied apart from 30 X posts with links a month) remove the ceiling entirely.
