Terms of service

Effective July 7, 2026

The plain-English version

Unbusied publishes your content to your social accounts, on your schedule, at your direction. You own your content and you’re responsible for it. You pay $33/month per Social Set, you can cancel anytime, and scheduled posts keep firing until your paid period ends. The social platforms are outside our control, so when something fails we tell you and make retrying easy, but we can’t guarantee what a platform will accept. Keep your own original media: we’re a scheduler, not an archive.

1. Agreement

These terms are a contract between you and MXVEN, LLC(“Unbusied,” “we,” “us”) covering your use of unbusied.com and app.unbusied.com (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you accept them. If you use the Service for a business, you accept them on that business’s behalf. You must be at least 16 and able to form a binding contract.

2. The Service

Unbusied lets you compose social media posts, organize them by brand in “Social Sets,” and schedule them for automatic publication to the third-party platforms you connect (currently Instagram, Facebook, Threads, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn, and X). The supported platforms and features may change as the platforms themselves change.

3. Your account and your team

Sign-in is by email link, so keeping access to your email address is keeping access to your account, so protect it accordingly, and tell us immediately about any unauthorized use. If you invite people into a Social Set, they can see and manage that Set’s content and connected accounts; invite only people you trust to act for that brand. The Set’s owner controls its billing and membership.

4. Authorization to publish on your behalf

When you connect a social account, you authorize Unbusied to access that account through the platform’s official API and to publish the content you schedule, exactly as you scheduled it. You confirm that you’re entitled to grant that access (it’s your account, or you’re authorized to manage it). You can revoke this authorization at any time by disconnecting the account or revoking access from the platform’s settings. Your use of each platform remains governed by that platform’s own terms, including the YouTube Terms of Service for connected YouTube channels. Unbusied is not affiliated with or endorsed by any of these platforms.

5. Your content and your responsibility

You own the content you create and upload. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, process (including video transcoding), and transmit it, solely to operate the Service and ending when the content is deleted per our retention policy. We claim no other rights to it, and we don’t use it to train AI models.

You are solely responsible for what you publish. You agree that your content and your use of the Service will not:

  • infringe anyone's intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights;
  • violate any law, or any connected platform's terms, community guidelines, or automation rules;
  • involve spam, deceptive practices, malware, or artificial engagement schemes;
  • contain content that is unlawful, defamatory, or exploitative of minors.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these rules, and we may suspend abuse that threatens the Service or other customers, but we have no obligation to pre-screen anything. What you schedule is your call and your responsibility.

6. Media retention: keep your originals

The Service is a scheduler, not an archive, and its storage policy reflects that: we keep display-resolution images so your post history renders, and we purge heavy video files after every delivery for a post has succeeded (plus a short grace period, as described in the privacy policy). Always keep your own copies of your original photos and videos, because we do not promise long-term media storage, and you agree not to rely on the Service as a backup.

7. Billing

  • Each Social Set is a subscription of $33 per month (plus any applicable taxes), billed through Stripe. There is no free plan; scheduling from a Set requires an active subscription.
  • You can cancel anytime through the billing portal. Your Set stays fully functional, and scheduled posts keep publishing, until the end of the period you've paid for.
  • We don't prorate refunds for unused time. If we ever change the price, existing subscribers get email notice at least 30 days before it affects them.
  • If a payment fails we'll tell you and retry; continued non-payment pauses scheduling for that Set until billing is fixed.

8. Third-party platforms: the honest limits

Publishing depends on APIs we don’t control. Platforms reject posts, throttle accounts, expire tokens, change their rules, and have outages; a platform may also remove published content or restrict your account under its own policies. We commit to reasonable efforts: publishing on schedule, telling you promptly when a delivery fails, and giving you a one-tap retry. We cannot and do not guarantee that any platform will accept, publish, retain, or display any particular content, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, MXVEN, LLCwill not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, audiences, or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Some jurisdictions don’t allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

10. Indemnification

You’ll indemnify and hold MXVEN, LLCharmless from third-party claims arising out of your content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these terms or a platform’s terms.

11. Termination

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time (see data deletion). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, create legal exposure, or abuse the Service, with notice where practical. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (5, 6, 9, 10, 12) survive it.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Illinois. Both sides waive any objection to that venue.

13. Changes to these terms

If we make material changes, we’ll update the effective date and email active subscribers before the changes take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the updated terms.
