Unbusied vs Later
Later made its name as the Instagram visual planner (grid previews, link-in-bio) and has since grown into an influencer-marketing platform with scheduling attached.
Later is where a lot of business owners start, because it's where Instagram-first advice points. Whether it still fits depends on two things: how many platforms you post to, and how much you post.
Later's plans meter both. The Starter plan caps you at 30 posts per profile per month and one user; AI credits are counted out (five per month on Starter); live-chat support starts on the top tier. And Later dropped X (Twitter) support entirely in 2025, so if X is part of your spread, Later can't post there at all. Meanwhile the company's front page now leads with influencer marketing, not the scheduler.

When Later is the right call
- Instagram is your main channel and you plan visually, where Later's grid preview is still the best-known tool.
- You post to Pinterest or Snapchat.
- You want link-in-bio bundled with your scheduler.
When Unbusied is the right call
- You post to X, which Later can't.
- You post daily: 30 posts per profile per month runs out fast, and Unbusied has no caps.
- Someone helps you with content, and Unbusied doesn't charge per seat.
What you’d actually pay
Later Starter is $25/month (or $18.75 billed annually) for one social set and one user, with a 30-post monthly cap per profile and five AI credits. Real daily posting pushes you toward Growth at $50/month ($37.50 annual) for the higher caps and a second user.
Unbusied is $33/month with no post caps, no credit meters, no per-seat charges, and X included. One number, whatever your volume.
Switching from Later?
There’s nothing to migrate. Your social accounts stay exactly where they are. Create your Unbusied account, connect the accounts to a Social Set (a few minutes of OAuth), rebuild your upcoming queue, and cancel Later whenever it feels safe. Most people are fully moved in one sitting.
Fair questions
Does Unbusied have a grid preview or link-in-bio?
No. Unbusied is a scheduler: calendar, composer, per-platform tweaks, delivery status, simple analytics. If grid aesthetics are your workflow, Later earns its keep.
Does Unbusied support full YouTube videos?
Yes, regular YouTube uploads, not just Shorts.
Is there a post limit on Unbusied?
No. Post as often as your platforms allow. Unbusied doesn't meter posts, AI credits, or team members.
