How to schedule Threads posts (2 ways)

Threads added basic scheduling to its own app. Write your post, open the menu from the compose screen, and choose to schedule it. It works, with limits:

• One post at a time, from your phone.
• No calendar view of the week, so it is hard to see your plan.
• Threads only. Your other platforms still need their own posting.

If you post to Threads once in a while, this is all you need. The app is free and it works.

A scheduler talks to Threads through Meta's official Threads API, the same door Meta built for apps. That unlocks batching. In Unbusied it looks like this:

• Connect your Threads account once in Settings.
• Write your post in the composer. Text, photos, video, and carousels all work on Threads.
• Select Threads (and any other platforms) and pick your times.
• The posts publish on schedule. If one ever fails, you get an email and a one-tap retry.

The win is the calendar: a week of Threads posts in one sitting, next to your Instagram, Facebook, and everything else.

• Works scheduled: text posts, photos, videos, and multi-photo carousels.
• By hand only: interactive extras like polls. Those work when you post live in the app.
